Stacy HANSON Obituary

Passed away peacefully on April 29, 2023 with her loved ones by her side at age 61. She resiliently fought her battle with breast cancer for more than 3 years. During this time she was able to retire from her 30+ year career at St. Paul School District, travel and create lasting memories with her friends, family and cats and spend time doing her greatest joy, gardening. She will be remembered by her bright light, kind soul, compassionate demeanor and her unconditional love. She was the most caring wife to Scott, extraordinary mother to Ashley and Haley, selfless and loving daughter, sister and aunt and loyal friend to so many. She will be dearly missed by all. Please join us for a celebration of life at the family's home on July 3, 2023. Feel free to reach out to family for further details.

I remember Stacy from Como Park H.S. We worked in the main office together. I remember the time that we painted the guidance secretary´s office and put up a mural, without permission. We did it in the evening and swore the custodians to secrecy. We did get found out and everybody loved the new look. We were good friends as she and Scott started their family. Stacy transferred to Highland H.S. and when I retired in 2003 we lost track of each other. My condolences to the family. Stacy was loved by everyone who met her. She will always be missed! Stacy made me a Christmas tree skirt probably 30 or more years ago. I would like the family to have it, along with pictures. Please contact me via e-mail if you are interested.

I remember Stacy well from our time together at Evening High School in the late 1970s at Central High School. She considered the staff her family and we were all invited to her wedding. Think of you often.
