Steve aka “Boat Boy” I think of you often and miss you. We worked together for 7 years in the Fishing Lodge, where you were the heart and life of the party for all of the members there. I know that the members all have fond memories of those days that you happily served them. I can still see you standing outside McGoverns side door with your infectious smile and conversation. I miss you Steve. Rest in peace

I just found out about Steve when I returned to work this week. I am shocked and saddened to know he is gone. It's hard to believe such a vibrant individual has left us. I had the pleasure of working with Steve for years in the fising lodge and hanging out with him outside of work (although Steve never made work seem like work). Steve was one of those rare individuals that if you are fortunate to meet in your lifetime had a spark, energy and zest for life that was truly contagious. Steve and I had always talked about taking ballroom or salsa dancing, but it was always someday. The past few days I grieve not having that opportunity to spend time with Steve. Lesson learned, somedays don't wait. It was an honor and a privilege to know you Steve, thank you for enriching my life.

I just heard that Steve passed and all I could do was cry:( I wish I would have known sooner, I feel terrible not being there at his service. Steve was like a brother to me, always so helpful, kind, and funny as hell! We were, but weren't related, but I considered him my brother, he is now in heaven with our sister Deb, I know she was waiting for him at those gates. I'm going to miss you so much Steve! You were an awesome guy! Thanks for the fun on the boat, I will always keep the memories in my heart. Rest in paradise my brother, free from pain.
Love you,
Dana

My Uncle Steve. Steve lived with me in my earliest years, some of my earliest memories Steve was there. I loved him so much as he protected me from the big world and made me laugh. @ age 3 I couldn't say Uncle Stevie so I called him Uncle DD. I spent almost every one of the last 29 Christmas's with him so this one will be tough as hell but Ill be ok knowing he's with my mother whom I know he had been painfully missing since '96. They are together once again and Steve is making her laugh, he made her laugh so much as he did all of us. I love you Mom and Uncle DD!!! Think of you two everyday of my life..

To Steve's family, I just left mass and in listening to his brother at the end I am reminded that life lived well is in the end the very best we can do. As you know, Steve lived life the way it should be, to the absolute fullest and in so doing touched many. RIP Steve! Bottoms up!

Steve made me smile at work as he was always smiling and so animated. Then there was Reeds after work and that awesome peacoat he wore. That's how I'll always remember Stephen. Rest in Peace.
