Dear Judd's- I grew up on Lincoln Ave. in St. Paul across the street from Steve. I remember him as such a gentle soul. Large in stature but so kind and soft spoken. He was always so nice to us growing up, I have very fond memories of him and can picture him to this day arriving home in the Summer and stopping to speak with me. He was a good man and will be missed by many I am sure. My parents (Bill & Barbara) informed me today. My Mom told me about how we had the Judd Family paddleboat at our cabin in Hayward, WI and I remember loving having it as kid. Just shows how generous and warm Stephen was and treated everyone like family. Rest In Peace Steve. You will not be forgotten. :)

Dear Marilyn and the rest of the Judd family:
My heartfelt sympathies on this great loss. I had the good fortune to work with and for Steve at 3M Company in the early 1980s. Better than anyone else I've ever known, he had this magical ability to get things done without losing his cool or raising his voice. Steve was a Christian in the best sense of the word. We solved many a 3M problem over a breakfast omelet at 'Sky Blue Waters' or a beer and rib-eye sandwich at the 'Minnehaha Tavern'. The last time I saw Steve was in spring 2008 at my 3M retirement party. As always, he had some very nice things to say. I will miss him very much.

Steve was a wonderful nex-door neighbor and friend. He welcomed us to the neighborhood when we moved in; all the Judds were wonderful and fun as we watched the kids grow to adults! He was a man to be admired; he will be missed. Pat and Maureen Flahaven
