I CANNOT COMPREHEND THAT A YEAR HAS PASSED ON THIS TRAGEDY. STILL FEL THE GENTLE PAT ON MY HAND AS HE STOPPED BY TO CHCK ON ME AFTER DELIVERING MY DAUGHTER.....WHO TURNED 43 THIS YEAR......MAY GOD HOLD YOU AND YOURS IN TH PALM OF HIS HAND.

Dr. Stephen Larson was a mentor to me when I was on staff at Southdale hospital, one of my favorite physicians. With any OB/GYN or life problem, he went out of his way to be kind, caring, and compassionate. He would always listen, offer timely advice, and encourage, a truly extraordinary man in so many ways!

Stece was my roommate at Dartmouth and a really wonderful man. Even though we were not in close contact after college, I always heard that HE was the doctor you wanted when you were having problems.

Such a wonderful human being. He helped many a woman try to figure out what pregnancy is all about! Loved this guy and ALL his staff. Thirty years is a long time to trust and go to a Dr. Peace to all.

Dr. Larson was my GYN for 34 years and I will forever be saddened by this tragic loss. His tremendous compassion, gentleness, and caring ways are truly going to be missed. My deepest and most sincere sympathy to the entire Larson family.

I live in the Northwest presently. Dr. Larson was my Dr. for over 13 yrs. I am a RN and worked with him occasionally. He was a wonderful caring Dr. and person. So sad to hear of his loss. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Darlene and I were so blessed to be entrusted with Steve and Cindy's children for a few days while I was in medical school. Later he gave me good advice on the difficult birth of our first son. The world has lost a great doctor and friend. bob Jones

WHAT A LOSS TO THE COMMUNITY. DR LARSON DELIVERED MY FIRST CHILD, ANGELLA, ON MARCH 12, 1971. MAY HAVE BEEN ONE OF HIS EARLY DELIVERIES. THERE WERE 5 DOC'S IN THE PRACTICE AND I HAD TO SEE ALL OF THEM DUE TO NOT KNOWING WHO WOULD ACTUALLY MAKE THE DELIVERY. SO, DR LARSON SUGGESTED I LOOSE FIVE POUNDS IN MY DECEMBER VISIT WITH HIM! SO I DECIDED TO NOT SCHEDULE WITH HIM AGAIN! WELL, GUESS WHO APPEARED AT SHOW TIME? DR. LARSON! HE WAS SO KIND AND REASSURING. GOD REST HIS SOUL.

Dr Larson has been my phyisican for 42 years. I will miss our yearly visits. My deepest sympathies go out to his family, friends and staff.

Dr. Larson delivered 2 of my 4 children when he was in Dr. Stromme's group. He was always so caring and would take the time to be a friend as well as a great doctor. He also did a couple of other female surgeries on me and was always there to offer care. I will miss him and his dedication on caring for his patients in a very gentle way. We would always discuss how our children were doing. Rest in Peace doctor Steve as I will pray for your family. Thank you for being the wonderful man and doctor you were with me. Lori Neid

I was a classmate of Lars' in medical school and we roomed together in Montreal our third year. He moved to the AKK fraternity house for the last year because his Dad thought I was a bad influence. Reading his obituary and the tributes from his friends it's obvious he became a truly awesome physician who has made a difference in so many peoples' lives.

My deepest condolences to the entire family. I was his patient for 30 years and I will miss his smile and my yearly visits to see him. I just saw him in October. I have never cried at the loss of a doctor before. He was an incredible physician with a heart of gold and a gentle soul.

Dr. Stephen Larson was a kind man. I worked for him while I was in high school. He gave me a wonderful opportunity to learn while I was in school. I will never forget his wonderful smile.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Dr. Larson was a wonderful physician and he helped me when no one else would or could. I still say a prayer every morning, thanking him for his help and kindness. I am so saddened by this.

My love and sympathies go to you, Cindy, and your children and grandchildren. As you know Steve & Petie were such good friends throughout childhood and our marriages.....& as perhaps they are reunited... Words from others can't stop your pain, but maybe put a warm fuzzy blanket over it...The memory of Steve will last forever as the most kind, gentle, caring man I know.... I just want you all to know you all will stay in my thoughts as I send love and strength to you...
