Stephen SCHULTZ Obituary

Age 71 Passed March 13, 2023 Born and raised in St. Paul, Steve was a beloved son, brother, and uncle. Preceded in death by his parents, William K. Schultz, Sr. and Mildred E. Schultz; and brother, William K. Schultz, Jr. Survived by nieces, Elizabeth Schultz-Smith (Timothy) and Emily Bloomquist (Christian); and six grand nieces and nephews. Steve grew up in Falcon Heights, MN and graduated from Alexander Ramsey High School. He attended the University of Minnesota, earning a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. Later, he had a successful career in banking. A lifelong learner, Steve studied math and science in his spare time, taking many advanced courses at the U of M. He enjoyed bike riding, playing cards, piloting gliders, music, cars, and traveling. Steve will be most remembered for his intellect, kind heart, and sense of humor. Private burial service. Memorials to University of Minnesota.

Lifelong buddy, we shared many good times over the years. Glad I could visit with him last summer. He will be missed along with our other card playing friends who passed before him.
