I had Mr. Frickey for physical education class in the mid 90´s. Though I never saw him after graduation, he left an impression on me and I´ve never forgotten him. Rest In Peace, Mr. Frickey.

Coach - thanks for everything you taught me about life and loyalty, even if the lessons were sometimes unintentional. Blessings upon you and your family.

My prayers to you Mrs Frickey. May God grant you peace in all the great memories of Mr Frickey. I will always remember his big smile, big laugh and conversations over the backyard fence. As a little girl I remember making him a friendship pin thinking it was very difficult/ grown up of me to get those little tiny beads on a safety pin for him and he made me feel like I had made something really special and not just stuck beads on a safety pin. Heart of gold. Heaven has got a keeper. God bless you and keep you. Love and hugs to you neighbor

My heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Frickey, and family friends, and HM students and friends who were so blessed to have had Coach Frickey be a part of their earthly journey in life. Coach Frickey made us laugh at ourselves and not take ourselves to seriously. He was a great PE teacher. I will miss our FB banter about health and politics Coach...and messaging about meeting at the MN State Fair to share a beer and cheese curds (not at all healthy but darn good in moderation). RIP Coach Frickey. You will be missed.

Mrs Frickey, Sympathy and prayers to you in the passing of Coach. He was a man that took interest and was there for me when I played for him those falls of 80 and 81... We won Conference for him beating STA 14-13... We drank"the euphoria" and I drink it to this day. I am sorry I had difficulties in remembering plays other than my own.... But, I am thankful for being able to run in that last quarter to run a 123 Dive, a 126 Counter, or a 141 Counter to running in for a Cornerback play at the end of the game... I am happy I was able to see him get elected into the HM HoF... I am happy that he remembered me amongst the many players that played for him over the years... I am thankful to him and my other coaches for giving me the opportunity to play on the Varsity level and earn my letter jacket and varsity letter.
I pray you are at peace Coach. I am sorry I haven't kept the closest tabs on you since moving back but always happy to see you at the HM functions.
Mrs Frickey, if there is anything I can do for you, I am here to do what I can for you you. Thank you for supporting Coach as his greatest cheerleader and being here for him. If there is something that I can do, please let me know.... God bless you Coach! Peace be with you!!!

I am an alumni of Hill-Murray (81) and sorry to hear that Mr. Frickey passed away. My condolences to his entire family.
He was an excellent teacher and coach, but always had a smile on his face and would say hi to the students in the hallways.
May God comfort you during this difficult time.
He will forever be our Coach. He was the BEST!
