Susan Calhoun SIMONTON M.D.

Age 68 of Lino Lakes Formerly of Portland, TN Susan graduated Suma Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University. She then went on to Johns Hopkins University Medical School. Her residency in Pathology was completed at the University of Minnesota Hospital. Susan enjoyed her career as the Lab Service Director at the Minneapolis and St. Paul Children's Hospital and Clinics. She loved spending time with her dogs, her cars and vacationing in Florida. Susan is survived by her siblings, Anne Marlin RN and Ralph Simonton III OD; her lifelong partner, Mike Basara MD; step daughter, Gina (Chad) Bruns and their children, Cameron and Greyson. Susan is preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Ralph Simonton Jr. MD. Services are pending at a later date. Memorials are preferred to APS Foundation of America or Mayo Clinic.
