Dear Susan, I can´t believe it has been a year since you left us. I miss you and think of you every day. You were a fun and caring sister and I miss you but I am so glad you are no longer suffering. I hated seeing you that way and I can smile when I think of you in heaven with Jesus. At Dad´s funeral you said, "Heaven is dearer to me now knowing that my Heavenly Father is there and now my earthly father as well." I know you are with them and now Mom as well and I hope and pray John is there as well. I love you sweet sister.

Please accept our condolences. Sue was a dear friend and neighbor for many years. We always enjoyed our backyard get togethers. It was always fun to exchange jokes with her. She was always good to come over for confirmations, graduations, card parties, etc, and it was always fun to have her. She was a great piano teacher for our daughters and they loved her for it. We will miss her very very much

Diane, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers as you feel the loss of your beloved sister, Susan.
What a joy it was to watch her at the piano in Choir practice, and cheerleading at sporting events at Sibley!
She was a remarkable, beautiful lady and will be remembered by so many whose lives she touched.
Deepest condolences,

My heart goes out to Aunt Susan and all those lucky enough to have known her. Even though I only lived in St. Paul for the first few years of my life, she was always a part of my life's journey. She remembered my every birthday, every Christmas and every special occasion. She flew down to Georgia for my college graduation a lifetime ago, and to Maryland for my wedding a few years ago. Even if we went months without speaking, and sometimes longer, we could pick up right where we left off. We were two kindred spirits with a shared love of a great many things, including abandoned dogs. Aunt Susan lead a life by example, speaking more with her actions than her gentle voice. If you wanted to know what a good human being looked like, you needed only to look her way. Unselfish almost to a fault, she relished every opportunity to give of herself -- to her family, community, church and to anyone or anything in need. I know her passing is a great loss to all of us who loved her, but I find comfort in knowing she is in pain no more, and that my beloved Grandpa and Grandma Young are now holding her and my Uncle John in their arms. Godspeed, Aunt Susan. I am a better man for being your nephew.

Diane,
I know how much you loved your sister. The two of you had a lot in common. You both had a love for God and used your beautiful voices and talents to sing his praises. I praise God that she is no longer in pain, unfortunately her comfort brings you pain. I pray that you have a peace that she is with Jesus and you will one day be reunited! Blessed are they who mourn for they will be comforted.

Dear Susan has no more pain. She had such a rough time these last few years. May you find comfort in knowing that her pain is gone and she is at peace. Remember her singing and cheering and charming the world with that smile that lit up the room. GOD BLESS!

Diane, Susan brightened the lives of all who knew her, always ready to be everyone's cheerleader. May it comfort you to know that she is now a bright and shining star in the Lord's Heavenly Chorus.

Dear Diane,
I am so sorry for your loss of Susan! I have many wonderful memories of her! We had so much fun together during the time she was married to Ken! I remember family times, riding together to the U of M, playing solitaire at moms while she waited for Kenny to get home from work! We sang and laughed at family gatherings! I stayed at their home a lot on weekends when my mom would go up to the cabin! I so enjoyed her and our friendship!
I know that she is happy now with family and friends in heaven! I also know that God has her singing, playing the piano and directing his heavenly choir!
My prayers are with you and your family during this time of great sadness!
My Deepest Sympathy,
Kay
