Teresa Marie "Terry" GERDTS

Though we mourn the loss of our daughter/sister/aunt, we rejoice knowing she is with her Lord and Savior, brother Robert, grandparents, aunts and uncles. Terry left us on Friday, August 26, 2022 after a brief, courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her parents, William and Kathleen (Hall) Gerdts; brothers, Tom (Marlene), Steve (Gail) and Bill; sisters, Julie and Cynthia (Rob); special aunts, LaVerne (Gerdts) Esch and Virginia (Hall) Schwartzbauer; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Terry attended St. Theresa's College in Winona, MN and graduated from the University of WI-Stout with a B.S. degree in Vocational Rehabilitation. She also graduated from the Program for Deaf Interpreters at St. Paul Technical College. Terry was a skilled and very dedicated certified Interpreter for the deaf community for 35+ years. She was a very proud and passionate professional. She put these same traits into her volunteer work. Terry was also a voracious reader and believed learning never ends. Celebration of Terry's life will be at 11AM on Friday, September 9, 2022 at Bradshaw Funeral and Cremation (4600 Greenhaven Dr., White Bear Lake MN). Lunch to follow at Bradshaw. Private Interment with immediate family at Calvary Cemetery in St. Paul, MN. Memorials preferred to Prism in Golden Valley, MN.
