Not sure what to say?

To the Eagen Family,

I just received my South High Foundation newsletter today and was so saddened to see that Tim had passed away. I was one of his classmates and what I remember most about him was his kindness to everyone. I last saw him at our 30th (can it be?) reunion and what struck me is that he pretty much look the same except a few pounds heavier (like the rest of us) but still the same geniune Tim who hadn't seen me in years but acted as if it was like yesterday since I had seen him. I cannot express my deepest sympathy to all of you.

I just learned of Tim's passing and was stunned. I am so very sorry for your loss. Though we spoke infrequently, it was always the bright spot of my day chatting with Tim. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Tim, how can you be gone?! You're my baby brother! You were larger than life! You were the "song" in our family...you brought the joy, the wisdom, the selfless loving heart to all of us. Your integrity, strength and unconditional love made us feel cared about....and safe. How do we go on without you? God's Word says, "We grieve, but not as those who have no hope." How thankful I am for the great reunion to come that will last for eternity!

Words fail me. As you know Tim and I were team mates, grade school and life long buddies. I have so many memories that routinely make me laugh. My son Noah learned how to properly eat a popcycle by washing the outer coat of slimmy freezer burn off. Tim was always there when I needed him. He punched many holes in the darkness. I miss him tremendously and my heart aches for you wonderful ladies. CS Lewis used to say Christians never need to say goodbye. My family upholds your family in prayer.

Dear Vicki & girls, Nancy, Lynn, John, Mike & families)
I feel such great sadness at the death of Tim, and for what you are all going thru now. He was always special to me, and we had such great fun when I would come back to Minneapolis. I will always remember how much I enjoyed his visit to me , when I lived in Vail, Colorado, back in 1972. How sad to lose any brother or sister, but "The Baby" is so unnatural, so hard to take. Please know that the Dee & Ganus clan feel terrible about this, and are keeping you all in our prayers.
God Bless you all, & Much Love, Cousin Kathie

To Vicki, Abbey, Erin, Mara--
Tim was our go-to man for all of our mortgage needs. We did business with him for close to 15 years. We never even considered using anyone else (in spite of his efforts to always have us take a look at other possibilities so we were sure to get the best rates). He conducted himself with the utmost of integrity and ALWAYS made us laugh. We will pray for your peace and comfort, knowing that Tim left you with multitudes of wonderful memories.

Tim,
You are a man among men Tim Eagen. Always have been and always will be. You have left quite a legacy. I have thought several times over the last week about how can I be just a bit more like you ? To be so honest, hard working, loving, compassinate and passionate in every area of your life. You have touched so many people in so many ways. Just thinking about you makes me smile. Whenever Nancy and I talk and your name comes up we always seem to end up laughing. Remembering some crazy escapade or story you were apart of. You have been an inspiration to me.
Love, Blessings, and Peace

When I think of you in your last golden hours
The laughter we shared will still be heard
And your legacy to me long remembered

To: Vicki and the many friends and family of Tim. I had the privelege of serving with Tim in the ministry of Awana. No matter what the demands and requirements on Tim's life, He was always there for those kids the moment He walked in the room. They also knew without a doubt what his expectation was of them. It was truly a Blessing for me to serve with him in that ministry for the years that we did. I did serve as an Awana Director for a couple of years;in those two years I would say that Tim was more of a Director than I was and there was much that I learned from him. There was no doubt that Awana was another passion of his BIG heart. I will truly miss him and his great sense of humor. May the Lord truly be your strength, Vicki and the girls.

To All of the Eagen Family,

Richard & I would like to express our deepest sympathy for your loss of dear, dear Tim. The news of his passing has just taken the wind out of our sails and left us feeling totally adrift. We can only imagine the grief you all must be feeling.

Tim was very special to me. We worked together and played together and shared a special love for Nanny. We have shared many stories from our childhoods and created new ones as adults that we can now look back and say remember when....I am so glad that I did not miss Tim in this world...he made a difference in my life...in the path I took and who I have become. So when our paths cross again, watch out because I'm going to cut in line and get to the front!

We send our love and prayers to each and every one of Tim's very precious family.

to family and friends of tim eagen;
for the past two summers i spent every tuesday with tim. he was a part of a church league that golfed at falcon ridge, my summer job. though i didn't know him as personally as many, i did see his beauty. every week he would greet me with a smile and a "hello anna, how are you this week?" followed by a semi long winded conversation of our plans, or everyday life. it was people like him who kept me working that tuesday night league. i will never forget that smile. my deepest sympathy goes out to all his friends and family. god bless you and may he rest in peace

Dear Vicki, Abbey, Erin, and Mara:
Tim was one of a kind. He was very friendly to our family, welcoming, and kind in helping us finance and, years later, refinance our home. Molly, the kids and I appreciate having you as neighbors and will miss Tim's smiling face and good nature. I always enjoyed running into him in the neighborhood and around town. He always had something funny and interesting to say. A major, premature, loss to us all.

To Tim's Family and Friends,

Our prayers are with you. Every time I met Tim he had a smile and a joke! I remember first meeting him 11 years ago for lunch and we talked about the Internet. His theory was it was just a fad! From then on over the years we joked about the "fad". He really shined at EMHE. I'll remembering standing side by side with him during Move That Bus as well as his humor. Aside from the jokes, he talked of his family alot, his love of cooking and trying not to kill Vicki's plants when she was gone. God Bless Tim and his family.

To Tim’s family,

You don’t know me but “your Tim” was so good to me. He was the person I trusted with my finances and he helped me buy my first house and then eventually my dream house. It was so funny, he would always say,”Hey, Jen how is that daughter of yours?” I would say “Well she is beautiful and eleven.” Then we would talk about his girls and how proud he was of them. He would say we have the “cool” house where all the kids like to hang out. Then he went on to explain that he kept the fridge full and the toys fun, so the girls would want to be home with their friends and Tim would know they were safe and he could keep an eye on them. When I wanted to buy my house for my daughter and I, he said, “Well, Jen, I don’t know how to tell you this but, YOU CAN DO IT!” I will miss talking with Tim. I feel very lucky to have known him. He always told me he was so proud of me. That made me so feel good. Let the memories of this special person, Tim Eagen; bring you peace at this difficult time.

I remember the day he was born and I laid claim to him. He was my baby brother ! There are so many memories we have shared together through the years, and I know that Monday night when Tim went to be with our Lord a piece of my heart was taken. It will never be the same again without him and to quote one of my favorite authors "I know now, why weeping willows weep".

Arne and I were shocked to hear of Tim's sudden passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you.

We enjoyed being your neighbor for 10 years and have many memories of sharing stories, laughs, etc. in the backyard with Tim. I lost my father at age 15 and it's a life defining event and the girls will need all the love and support you and others can provide.

To Tim's Family,

I can't even comprehend how devastating this is to all of you. Tim was a brilliant man and cared about all of his clients and the real estate agents who sent clients his way. He was full of life and the spirit of God was with him in all he did. How could this have happened? We will never know. I am saddened and feel a tremendous sense of loss not being able to refer my clients to him. He was the best out there! I was working with him the day he died and am so very devastated. I pray that you receive peace and love from God during this so very hard time. Tim will always be with you and forever when you see him again in heaven. His spirit transcends physical and earthly boundries and after the grieving is done you will know in your hearts he is with you always!

Vicki:

Mike called me today to let me know about Tim. I am so shocked, and I am so very, very sorry. I remember the high speed chase through Energy Park Drive in our twin CRXs, I remember him helping me eat "peel and eat shrimp" at your townhouse by telling me the legs weren't legs (they were "handles"), I remember all the late night movie nights with trips across the street for ice cream . . . so many memories. Don't even get me started on the Sim City addictions and some computer game with puts and calls or something!!! Please know how terribly sorry I am for you and the girls. I will be holding you up in my prayers. Much love to you.

It is a sad day, indeed. Just this past weekend I was recalling with my brother and his wife how Tim helped my wife and me obtain the mortgage to buy our home in Rogers. He was a delight to work with, a true professional with integrity, and a dear brother in the Lord. He will be greatly missed by all who know him. My prayers are for God's gracious comfort to sustain the family through all the grief and emptiness which they, no doubt, will experience in the days and even years to come. May God bless you all in every encouraging way.

I am so sorry, I don't understand this. The only thing I know for certain in all of this, one thing more powerful than this sadness is that God's love is here to surround us, strengthen us,& carry us through. His love pierces these dark hours to bring hope, comfort and rest.
Uncle Tim had a profound impact on my life. From the time I was a little girl, he was magical to me, bigger than life, and I loved him.
He always took the time and went out of his way not just for me, but for everyone. I will miss him and remember him every day for the rest of my life.
