Wendy Dorothy EVANS

Age 86 Died February 6, 2022 Preceded in death by husband, Roger; parents, Horice & Dorothy; and grandson, Will. Survived by children, Robert (Laura), Lawrence, and Alison (Brad) Christensen; grandchildren, Samantha, Jacob, Philip, Caroline, Derek (Colleen), and Amelia; great-granddaughter, Kylie; and many dear friends at St. Anne's Episcopal Church, within the local community, and internationally. Wendy was a bright, charming, and artistic woman who cared very deeply for others, and she was always willing to lend an understanding ear. She was tenacious, kind, sensitive, and deeply loved her family. Born and raised in England, Wendy traveled and taught in Turkey and Australia before settling in the U.S.. Wendy was also the former artistic director for the Gilbert & Sullivan Very Light Opera Company for many years. She was an avid gardener and was determined to live life with purpose. A Memorial Service will be planned for a later date at St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Sunfish Lake. 651-457-6200
