Jaxon Miles Obituary

Jaxon Brock Miles, age 10 of Altamont, beloved son of Cheri and Jim Smith and Brent Miles, loving grandson of Bill Shiner and Shirley Shiner and Lloyd and Nancy Miles was called home on Nov. 7, 2010 from injures sustained in a car accident. He was loved by many aunts, uncles and cousins, and will be missed by many cherished friends and schoolmates.
Jaxon was born Nov. 15, 1999 in Roosevelt to Cheri Lynn Shiner and Brent Miles.
Jaxon loved anything at all to do with animals. His love was horses, he could spend all day on his favorite horse named "Cookie." He loved to go to rodeos with his family and compete doing barrels, poles, and roping. He loved to go to different roping jackpots. His greatest love was being an uncle to Brock and Kreedon.
Jaxon never knew an enemy. Everywhere he went he made friends. He was quite the jokester of the family. If you met Jaxon you loved him immediately. We love you, "Our Little Cowboy Angel."
Jaxon is survived by his mother and father, Cheri and Jim Smith, father Brent Miles, good friend Michelle Stringham, sister, Destini (Jeremy) Nielson, Shaycee Miles, brothers, Colton Miles, Malcolm Miles, Dalton Smith, grandparents, Billy Shiner and Shirley Shiner, Lloyd and Nancy Miles, Lynn and Colleen Gardner, Logan and Pam Smith, great grandparents, Harry and Beverly Fieldsted, many, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jaxon was preceded in death by an older brother, Brock Lloyd Miles, cousin Shayna Dawn Brady and Kashton and Kixton Brady, grandma, Louise G. Smith, great grandpa Burke Shiner.
Funeral services will be held Wed., Nov. 10, at 11 a.m. at the Altamont LDS Stake Center. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the church and 1 hour prior to the service.
Burial in the Mountain Home/Boneta Cemetery under direction of the Hullinger Mortuary.
The Jaxon Brock Miles family has requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Rockin C Arena-Youth Roping at Mountain America Credit Union in Roosevelt or Altamont.

I am a stranger to your family, but I was there at the ER, when they brought Jaxon to the hospital. I noticed someone from the hospital staff had taken someone into the room before the ER doors,so when I saw family coming in and they seemed not to know where to go , I pointed them in the right direction as I was leaving the hospital. I just want to say how sorry I am to hear of your loss. He was a very young man and the world will never know him, but I know he was loved very much. My prays will be for the family he left behind, my faith tells me, you will all see him again. Once again I am so sorry. Hope Hardinger Rye
