Scott Fetzer Obituary

The life of Scott E Fetzer, 38, was remembered in a celebration of his life on Sunday, August 9, 2015 with family and friends in Redwood Valley. He is survived by his daughter-Audrey, his father-Robert J, brother-Mark, sister-in-law-Lisa, nephews-Rob and Frank and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Upon completion of high school at Ukiah High, Scott attended Mendocino College and several other junior colleges throughout his life, but by the age of 20 he decided to join the United States Navy. Scott served 6&1/2 years with the Navy. Scott loved to travel. He was stationed at Pt Mugu in Southern California, Oak Harbor in Washington as well as going on two 6 month deployments overseas. He was part of one of the first squadrons to join in Operation Enduring Freedom. After his military service he returned to California. He lived and worked in Redwood Valley, where he spent countless hours with his daughter and tending to the ranch until his sudden death on August 1, 2015. Scott enjoyed fishing, Frisbee golf, road trips, the coast, pruning the vineyard, hanging with his friends and being a jokester. He will be greatly missed by all those he knew. From his daughter, she wishes for him to know how much she loves him and how much so many others loved him.
