Donald Drabant Obituary
Don was born on June 6, 1939 in Milaca, MN to Edward and Mary (Kowalsky) Drabant. He attended District 21 Grade School and graduated from Milaca High School in 1958. Throughout his life, Don lived in Milaca, Blaine, and Wahkon. He worked as a truck driver for Dayton Rogers Manufacturing.
On October 13, 1962, he was united in marriage to Maureen Marsolek at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Milaca. Don was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Wahkon and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Julia.
He is survived by his wife, Maureen; his brothers, Ben (Sharon) Drabant of Park Rapids, MN and "Butch" (Judy) Drabant of Blaine, MN; his sister, Pat Diers of Blaine, MN and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Wahkon with Fr. Jerry Schik, OSC officiating. Music is being provided by Kathy Lundeen and Kathy Statz. Visitation will be from 10-11 A.M. at the church. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
