On October 22, 2022, Hannah Jillane Sicora died unexpectedly from a heart attack in San Miguel de Allende, GTO, Mexico, where she was living.

Hannah filled her 31 years with drawing every day, singing opera, playing cello, speaking Spanish, skiing down mountains, advocating for the less privileged, visiting her grandparents at their farm in Milaca, sailing at the family cabin on Mille Lacs Lake, and lighting up rooms with her smile, laughter, and love.

Hannah will be missed greatly by her parents, Jill (Peterson) and Tim Barbour of Independence, MN, sister Britta Sicora, stepsister Maddie Barbour, stepbrother Jack Barbour, her maternal grandparents Dean and Arlou Peterson of Milaca, MN, her paternal grandmother Mary "Birdie" Sicora of Buffalo, MN, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father Thomas Sicora and grandfather Thomas Sicora.

A private burial took place on December 19, 2022 at Forest Hill Cemetery and Hannah's life was celebrated in Mexico on November 24, 2022 and in Minneapolis on December 21, 2022.
