Maxine and Bob were very involved in the 4-H Horse and Goat programs. They continued to show their prize goats at the Minnesota State Fair for many years.

She passed away peacefully at home on December 3, 2025 at the age of 88.

Survived by seven children, Keith (Wendy), Kelly, Kim, Wade (Brian), Kevin (Terri), Aaron, Jason; brother, Wayne (Kayla); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
