KATHY BLACKWELL Obituary
Kathy Blackwell
UNION — Mrs. Kathy P. Blackwell, 67, wife of C.B. Blackwell of 1005 Deepwater Road, Union, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Blackwell was born June 28, 1950 in Union, SC, a daughter of the late Earle Poole and Willie McNeace Poole. She was a 1968 graduate of Union High School and was the Office Manager of CB's Brake and Alignment.
Surviving in addition to her husband are one daughter, Karen Petty and husband Tommy of Union; two granddaughters, Katelyn Petty and Kalli Petty, both of Union; and one brother, Chuck Poole of Buffalo.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Sardis United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Jeff Farmer and Rev. John Cribbs. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be, Phillip Russell, Brad Blackwell, Allen Petty, Aaron Petty, Bruce Blackwell, and Frankie Martin.
Visitation will be immediately following the burial at Sardis United Methodist Church.
The family is at the home of her daughter, Karen and Tommy Petty, 112 Mary Ann Drive, Union, SC 29379.
