UNION — Robert Steven "Boo" Warr, 45, and his wife Loretta Tucker "Rudi" Warr, 43, 410 Springdale Drive, Union, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018. Robert and Loretta are survived by two son, Zack Warr and D.J. Warr both of the home.
Loretta was born in Lockhart, June 30, 1975, a daughter of Marie Snapp Tucker of Pacolet and Bill Tucker of Union. She was employed in the admissions department at the University of South Carolina, Union where she was also working on her Bachelor's degree. Loretta was a 1993 graduate of Union High School and a 2012 graduate of Spartanburg Community College where she graduated with Highest Honors. She was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society and served as president of the International Association of Administrative Professionals from 2011 to 2012. She and her husband were members of the First Baptist Church of Lockhart.
Surviving in addition to her sons and parents are a sister, Ann Marie Tucker; a brother Dennis Carson Tucker and wife Teresa, all of Union; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, William Claude Tucker.
Robert was born in Lockhart, March 26, 1973, a son of the late James Warr and Sarah Elizabeth Hembree Warr Fullbright and step-son of the late Bobby Jack Fullbright. He was a 1991 graduate of Union High School and attended Spartanburg Community College. Robert was the owner and operator of Warr's Auto and was an avid car enthusiast, on and off-road cars.
Surviving in addition to his sons, are a sister, Christie Ward and husband Glenn of Spartanburg; a brother, James H. "Jimmy" Warr and wife Tammy of Union; a honorary brother, Michael Conn and wife Stephanie of Union; two half-sisters, Ann McDaniel and husband William and Judy Bass, all of Union; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Robert and Loretta will be held 3 p.m. Friday, August 10, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Union, 405 East Main Street, Union, conducted by Rev. Delos Blanton and Rev. Ben Hill. Burial will be at Union Memorial Gardens.
Active pallbearers will be Marcus Rowland, Heath Ward, Tim Seymore, Michael Conn, Stan Hindman, Norman Johnson, Jimmy Warr and David Byrd.
Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Lockhart, P.O. Box 190, Lockhart, SC 29364.
The family will be at the home, 410 Springdale Drive, Union.
