Arthur Cupler Obituary
Known for his jovial demeanor, Arthur was always there for everyone. A friend of Arthur's was as good as family. Arthur enjoyed many things in life including creative writing, reading, cooking, camping, and fishing.
Arthur was born Feb. 10, 1990. He was highly involved in band throughout high school. He was also hugely involved in the youth program at Twain Harte Church. After graduating from Sonora High School in 2008, he worked at Black Oak Casino for a short time before attending Trinity College as he pursued his calling of pastoral ministry. He later lived in Kingman, Arizona, as he worked in youth and media ministry there. After returning home to Tuolumne County in 2017, he worked as a technician for a small manufacturing company, Microtronics.
Arthur was a generous and loving friend, partner and son but, above all else, he loved Jesus with everything in him. He strived daily to show the love of Christ in everything that he did and to everyone that he met.
Arthur leaves behind a multitude of people who love him including his best friend and mother, Lynn Cupler; stepfather, Bill; and his loving girlfriend of the past year, Chelsea Walls. He also leaves his father, James Cupler; brother, Phillip Cupler; niece Ella, and nephew Henry. There are far too many friends to list as he was loved so greatly. Words cannot express how much he will be missed and treasured.
A memorial service will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, at Twain Harte Bible Church. Please send all condolences to Bill and Lynn Gibson, 17341 Jeanese Road, Jamestown, CA 95327.

I have such warm and fun memories of Arthur when he was involved in Drama at Sonora High. I am incredibly sad for his loss. Please accept my most sincere condolences.
