DAVID ELLIS SPRAGGINS

1951 - 2025

David Ellis Spraggins passed away peacefully on Oct. 27 surrounded by the love of his family. Born on Dec. 18, 1951, David lived a full and hardworking life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to family and friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Wanda Spraggins, just four days shy of celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary - a true testament to their lifelong love and partnership. David is also survived by his three children, Davina Ricci (Paul), Daylon Spraggins (Angelina), and Devan Spraggins (Nicole); his nine grandchildren; and one great-grandson who brought him great joy. He is also survived by his two sisters, Deb Talli (Reynold) and Dee Mills (Glenn), and many, many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Spraggins and Arlene Williams, and his brothers, Darryl and Doug Spraggins.
David worked for SPI Lumber Mill for 28 years before retiring, where his strong work earned him the respect of many. In his free time, he enjoyed riding his Harley, testing his luck at the casino, and helping others as everyone's favorite mechanic.
David was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, at the Willow Springs Clubhouse. Family and friends are invited to come share stories and memories as we honor a truly special man.
