Jeffrey Brian Lund passed away unexpectedly at home in his sleep in Tuolumne on Monday, Sept. 27, 2021, age 60.
Jeff was born on June 3, 1961, in St. Peter, Minnesota, to Sue and Don Lund. He attended school in Litchfield, Minnesota, before moving and graduating from Stuttgart American High School in Ludwigsburg, Germany. He attended Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota.
On May 5, 1990, he married his wife of 31 years, Tamara Gibson Lund. Together they raised their four children. Jeff was dedicated to his family and was always a great example of integrity, faithfulness and fairness.
Jeff was known for his dry sense of humor and keen wit. He enjoyed Monty Python and sharing movie lines with his kids at the dinner table. He was the household chef and loved to host family dinners. Jeff was an avid baseball fan, the Giants in particular. Jeff was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was an accomplished sport skydiver and had made well over 5,000 jumps. He was the office manager of their chiropractic practice in Sonora. Most recently he was driving Uber and loved meeting interesting people.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Tamara, and his four children, Eric, Nicole, Kevin and Alea; his parents, Don Lund, of Pine City, Minnesota, and Sue Jorgensen, of Dunnell, Minnesota; brother Mike Lund (Dawn), of Fresno; sister Kristi Picken (Jeff), of Appleton, Wisconsin; brother Bob Lund (Rhonda), of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and nieces and nephews Anna, Rachel, David, Lucas, Alexander, Marisa and Ava.
A private service was held at Carter's Cemetery in Tuolumne. Memorial donations to the Wounded Warrior Project can be made online at woundedwarriorproject.org.

Dear Lund Family, Jeff was the coolest, most even tempered man I have ever met. His casual demeanor and calmness was always amazing to me. My deepest & sincerest condolences go out to the Lund family. I am so, so sorry for your loss. This must be so hard for you all. Heart hugs to you all... Hold his memories close, for he is near.
