Alan Lupien Obituary

Alan James Lupien, 71, of Manchester, NH, passed away on June 27, 2025.

Born in Manchester, NH on July 3, 1953, he was the son of the late Walter and Elizabeth (Rose) Lupien. He was raised in the Queen City and graduated from Trinity High School.

Alan proudly served in the United States Army for twenty-five years, beginning his military career in 1978 and retiring in 1992. His years of service reflected deep dedication, discipline, and commitment to his country.

He was known for his quick wit, sharp sense of humor, and good heart. Alan had a natural way of making people laugh and feel at ease, and he often used his humor to lift the spirits of those around him. He had a kind and generous nature, and his warmth and sincerity left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Alan also had a deep fondness for his dog, Mocha, who was his constant companion and brought him much joy and comfort.

Alan is now reunited in eternal peace with his daughters, Jennifer Lupien and Christina Lupien; his sisters, Janice Barno and Lynn Upham; and his parents, Walter and Elizabeth Lupien, who welcomed him with open arms in heaven.

Family members include his beloved son, Derek A. Lupien of Tampa, FL; three sisters, Daverine Lyons of Nashua, Barbara Lupien of Manchester, and Beth-Ann Flanders of Goffstown; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and several dear friends.

Services: There are no calling hours. A committal service with military honors will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at 12:30 pm at New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, New Hampshire.
