Armande Richard Obituary

HOLLIS - Armande Marie Richard, 90, died Nov. 3, 2011, at her home.

She was was born on Aug. 4, 1921, in Manchester, the daughter of William and Claudia (Boucher) Richard.

Mrs. Richard lived in Hollis for 11 years coming from Merrimack, where she spent many years and enjoyed winters in Florida. She was a loving homemaker and in her later years enjoyed working for Traveler's Insurance Co. in Hartford, Conn.

She was a great cook and seamstress and loved doing crossword puzzles and playing cards.

Mrs. Richard was a devoted wife and mother.

She is survived by her three sons, Bill and his wife Cindy of Massachusetts, Philip and his wife Bonnie of Bedford, Roger and his wife Ginger of Washington state; two daughters, Denise and her husband Patrick of Hollis, and Leanne Richard of Massachusetts; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and her sister, Claire Shipman of Vermont. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Richard, in 2002.

SERVICES: Calling hours are Thursday, Nov. 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rivet Funeral Home & Crematorium, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, Nov. 11, at 10 a.m. at St. John Neumann Church in Merrimack. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum in Manchester.Memorial donations may be made to Merrimack Community Health & Hospice, 80 Continental Drive, Suite 110, Bedford 03110.
