Bryant N. MacPherson

MERRIMACK - Bryant N. MacPherson, 56, of Merrimack, after a long illness, died at the Cheshire County Nursing home in Westmoreland on Nov. 1, 2015.

Born in Concord, on July 21, 1959, he was the son of Norman F. and Prudence A.L. (Giroux) MacPherson. He is survived by his mother; two brothers, Russell and Troy; his three nephews, Devon, Ian and Tyler; his three nieces, Chelsey, Sheena (Desrosiers) and Summer MacPherson; and Britni Daman, whom he helped raise as if she were his own daughter.

In his life, Mr. MacPherson gained the rank of staff sergeant attached to medical operations for the U.S. Air Force and was a graduate of Merrimack High, UNH and SNHU with a bachelor of arts in applied music and human resources.

He was an exceptionally well rounded and talented individual who also held many private sector positions, professional musician as a solo performer and as an integral member of bands such as the D. Street Dues Band, the Jonee Earthquake Band, XLR8, and MacPherson Strutt. Additionally, he was employed as an IT specialist, international standards auditor, environmental health and safety officer, glazier, truck driver, owner-operator of Celtic Carpeting, material handler, construction worker, dishwasher and cook.

Those who knew Bryant knew him for his kindness, abundant generosity, fun-loving sense of humor, engaging smile, creativity, and energy.

services: A committal service with military honors will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6, at the N.H. Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH 03303.
