WOLFEBORO -- Dr. C. Warren Brodrick, 88, of Cotton Valley Road, died Nov. 2, 2008, at Sunbridge Care & Rehabilitation.
He was born in Waltham, Mass., on June 22, 1920, to Charles H. and Elsie Brodrick. He graduated from the University of New Hampshire and later received his DMD degree at Tufts Dental School in 1951.
In 1942, at age 22, he rode his bicycle to Wolfeboro, where he found and purchased his home on Cotton Valley Road. Dr. Brodrick began his dental career in Laconia, and later moved his practice to Wolfeboro, where he and his wife worked for more than 30 years.
Dr. Brodrick had a zest for life. He was active in community organizations. He was a Paul Harris member of the Wolfeboro Rotary Club, a member of the Wolfeboro/Brookfield Conservation Committee and the Appalachian Mountain Club, and was a member of the Friends of Music and the New Hampshire Timbers Owners Association.
He also served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
Family includes his wife of 56 years, Jean (Marks) Brodrick of Wolfeboro; and children Hollis Brodrick of Portsmouth, Betsey Newcomb of Mirror Lake, and Scott Brodrick of Wolfeboro; a grandson, a granddaughter and sister June Gibb, of Ashland, Mass.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. Memorial services are Friday at 1 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, South Main Street, Wolfeboro. Burial will be private.

Dr. Brodrick,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
