Christine Guida Obituary

Christine Michele Giuda, 77, passed away at Rose Meadow Acres in New Boston, NH on October 26, 2025, after a long period of declining health.

She was born in Eugene, Oregon on June 2, 1948, the daughter of John Albin and Patricia (Cabe) Revell.

She became an RN, studying at Sacred Heart School of Nursing in Eugene and became a Navy Nurse, caring for wounded Vietnam veterans at Oak Knoll Naval Hospital in Alameda, CA while on active duty. She served her Reserve commitment at Naval Hospital Whidbey Island, WA, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Commander. It was there that she met the love of her life, Robert, and they were married on June 27, 1981, in Eugene.

After completing her active duty commitment, Christine was employed at Children's Hospital in Seattle, WA. Her love of children was a force in her life. She was the primary teacher of their 3 children, homeschooling them all the way through high school. She organized Bike-a-Thons locally for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, raising funds to provide for families with children suffering from cancer, and served on the Board of Directors of Haven Pregnancy Services in Plymouth, NH.

She was an exceptional crafter and a Demonstrator for Stampin' Up, making cards for all occasions, wedding invitations, dolls, floral arrangements, and many other items reflecting her love of God, family, and nation.

Christine is survived by her husband, former NH State Senator Robert Giuda of Warren, New Hampshire; Joseph (Naomi) of Chesapeake, VA; Lauren (George) of Nampa, ID; Stephanie and grandsons Hunter and Braden of Eugene, OR; and 7 younger siblings: Robert Revell, Mark Revell, Dan Revell, John Revell, Mary Piazza, Anne Schilling, and Laurie Bailey, all residing in Oregon.

Calling hours will be held at the Dupuis Funeral Home, 11 Hill Avenue, Ashland, New Hampshire on Friday, October 31st from 6 to 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Parish, St Matthew's Catholic Church in Plymouth, New Hampshire at 11am, Saturday, November 1, 2025. A Mass will also be held at St Paul's Catholic Church in Eugene, Oregon, where she will be interred.

A cousin, Chris was about 8 yrs. older than myself. When our families gathered, she was pretty cool. When she was in the Navy, she visited my family wearing her uniform. Very impressive! She was so kind to this awkward younger cousin. My condolences to the Guida and Revell family.
