David Blackhurst Obituary
David received his bachelor's degree from Bates College in Maine. He worked for over 32 years at Hewlett Packard, as a project manager. David loved nature. He was an avid reader, enjoyed bird watching, white water rafting and hiking with his wife Natalie of 31 years. David took a solo trek across Australia to take in the beauty of nature. He was a phenomenal cook. David will be remembered as a gentle soul.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Natalie Hall, his stepdaughter, Sandra Roy, and her wife Michelle, two sisters, Alison Kivikoski, husband Bob, Lindsay Germanos, and husband George; three nieces, Kendra, Jill, Isabella; and three nephews, Aaron, Alex and Charlie.
Following cremation, a private celebration of life will be held at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, MA/NH Chapter 309 Waverley Oaks Road Waltham, MA 02452 or at www.alz.org or plant a tree in David's memory. I am truly sorry to hear this news. I worked with David at Digital for many years and he was always professional and a great Team member always bringing his expertise and dry humor to each project. Condolences to Natalie and family. He was taken too young.

So sad to hear of Dave's passing. I worked with Dave at Digital Equipment Corp and I remember him as a kind and even keeled man. I mentioned to Dave that my daughter was doing a school report on Australia and Dave shared his collection of Australia memorabilia with my daughter for her report. So sorry for your loss.
