David Campbell Obituary

David M. Campbell, 62, of Bow New Hampshire died suddenly on June 6, 2020 in a tragic car accident.

Born in Manchester, N.H. on February 10th 1958 he was the son of Ernest and Jennie (Woitowic) Campbell.

He was educated in Manchester more recently residing in Bow, N.H. He worked as a material handler at Quality wood priming company for 20 years.

Dave's passion was taking long rides with his wife on his Harley Davidson motorcycle. You will be remembered as a loving husband, brother and friend. He also loved interacting with his brothers and sisters in the wind on the Shadow Riders America forum. Dave was a traveler, foodie, lasagna making, chess-playing, loving, caring, Christian biker who had the heart of a poet with a quiet, yet restless energy.

He will be sorely missed.

Family includes his wife of 42 years Linda (St Onge) Campbell of Bow; one sister Norma and husband Ken Watt; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and his adoring cat Autumn. He also leaves close friends Ken Christian, Don Conti, Donna and Virginia Stone, Terry LaMontange and Doris Covey. He was predeceased by both parents; sister Mary Campbell; brothers Robert and William Campbell.

Services: due to these uncertain times there are no calling hours or services at this time. Donations in David's memory can be made to the charity of one's choice.

Linda, I have already messaged you elsewhere but it seems fitting to make a permanent record here. Dave and I only met once in 2007 although we were friends for many years via the Honda Shadow forum but our friendship was truly forged during the afternoon of torrential rain when we rode home together from Laconia. The Dave I remember was a gentleman. He was intelligent, funny, given to poetry and had a love of life. You know better than anyone what a great person he was. God bless you, Linda. Sincere condolences and much love.

Linda, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family! I am so glad to have grown up next to you and Dave as neighbors. Dave took me on my first motorcycle ride and I wish we were able to go for a ride when I got a motorcycle of my own. He will be missed by many for his one-of-a-kind personality. I'm truly sorry for your loss.

Linda, So sorry to hear about Daves passing. I never had the privilege of meeting Crazy Dave in person but I knew him for many years through the Shadow Forum and later more so through Facebook. Linda, condolences to you and your family and friends. We never met, but Dave took every chance he could to write about riding with you and how much he enjoyed it because you were along. From interacting on line and sharing a few messages, I know he was something special.

Pegs down for you Dave. Ride on forever.

Those who knew him well called him "Crazy Dave". He called himself "Crazy Dave". To me he was a "Brother in the Wind". We shared a love of motorcycles, bar - b - que, and sharing "stories" about "adventures".
He was an avid photographer, and shared his work on several social media sites, including "Laconia Bike Week .net", which is gone, but nor forgotten. Dave and I "shared" the same "dental impairment", but he could eat a steak much better and faster than I. He will be missed by many, R.I.P. " Crazy Dave". friend and "brother" - tofeather - aka Jim Roebuck

David, you will be missed by many people from the USA and beyond.
Your sense, humor and down to earth point of view bringing good will to bikers creates a void that cannot be filled with your passing, but your legacy lives on in both your postings that you shared and our minds. Thank you and may you ride on in peace.

Linda,
Mike and I were shocked and saddened to hear the devastating news. Our hearts are broken to think he was taken so suddenly. Dave always spoke highly of you and your happy marriage together. You were inseparable, best friends and were blessed to find the true meaning of love, which is an incredible gift from above. I pray that the memories Dave left with you, will be a daily reminder of his love for you.
I feel extremely fortunate knowing Dave for over thirty-five years. He was a neighbor, but more important than that, he was my friend. Under his gruff appearance, he was a quirky, kindhearted, intelligent man. Dave was also a talented writer. I looked forward to reading his poems and stories. They were amusing and very entertaining, most of which landed him in Facebook Jail, on a weekly basis!
Please remember you are in our thoughts and prayers at this sad and difficult time. If there's anything you need, please don't hesitate to call.
