David Ralph Day

David Ralph Day, 75, of Hudson, NH passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Nashua, NH. He was born on January 30, 1947, in Beverly, MA, the son of the late Gerald and Audrey Day.The youngest of his siblings, he was pre-deceased by his oldest-brother, Jerald Day and his first wife and mother of his children Bana Day. David is survived by his brother Gene Day, his ex-wife Sandra, his three children and their spouses, Christine Day and Terrance Jordan, Matthew Day and Tara Day, and Denise Day and Eric Olson: four grandchildren, Joshua Anderson, Nathan Anderson, Racine Olson, and Logan Day, as well as his stepchildren, nieces, and nephews. David graduated from Beverly High School and joined the U.S Army. He served overseas at the Taipei Air Station during the Vietnam War Era. Upon returning home, he had a long career as a Computer Support Engineer at Digital, GenRad and Sanders. David was an avid outdoorsman, lifetime NRA member, Ham Radio operator (AA1BD or AA1Big Dave) and he loved spending his time in nature whether it was a walk on a local trail or camping in Acadia Park. Interment to take place at later date at New Hampshire State Veteran's Cemetery in Boscawen, NH. The Cremation Society has been entrusted with arrangements.
