Delores T. Younger

Delores T. Younger, 97, of Manchester, NH, a long-time resident of Manchester, died October 25, 2025 at Courville Nursing Home.

Born in Providence, RI, June 7, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Paulene (Wexler) Abrams. She was a graduate of Hope High School of Providence and attended Lesley College. Delores married the love of her life, George Younger, in 1948. She dedicated her life to her family and raising their children.

Delores enjoyed playing Bridge, Mah Jong and antique collecting. She was a long-time member of Temple Adath Yeshurun, the temple Sisterhood and Hadassah. She was also a Hospice volunteer for 20 years.

Delores was a kind, gregarious person and everyone enjoyed her warmth and outgoing nature. She made friends wherever she went.

Above all else, she will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend.

Delores was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, George Younger in 2000. After George's death, she partnered and formed a warm, loving relationship with her long-term friend, Ron Wilson. Delores and Ron spent 12 good years together in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Florida until Ron's death in 2019.

Surviving family members include her two children, Susan Niederman and husband Jay of Laconia, NH and Larry Younger of Manchester; four grandchildren, Paula Niederman Rosenstock and husband, Jason, Seth Niederman and wife, Kristin, Justin Younger and wife Tanya and Jessica Younger; six great grandchildren, Gillian and Eli Rosenstock, Nathaniel, Noah and Cole Niederman and Kaylee Younger; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by one son, Mark Younger, in 2016; one brother, Stanley Abrams; and both of her parents.

Delores is also fondly remembered by Ron Wilson's children, David Wilson and partner, Karen, and Cynthia and Barry Massarsky. She had a wonderful relationship with her brother-in-law, Harold Goldstein and wife, Phyllis (deceased); her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joseph and Barbara Younger; and sister-in-law, Sandy Abrams.

SERVICES: A graveside funeral service will take place at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, October 29th at Manchester Hebrew Cemetery, S. Beech St., Manchester, NH 03103.
