Elizabeth "Beth" Bienvenue

1952 - 2025

Elizabeth Bienvenu, daughter of Dr. Lester J. and Irene Clare Bienvenu, of Manchester, NH died on April 18, 2025 at age 72 following a brief illness.

Born on June 5, 1952, Beth graduated from Immaculata High School and received a B.A. degree from Wellesley College. Having worked in education for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Manchester, she was employed by Catholic Medical Center in the medical records department for six years. She enjoyed volunteering and most recently spent five years as a foster grandparent with the Friends Program of Concord, NH.

Beth doted on her family members, regularly sending treasured letters and packages that delighted the children. An avid reader, she was inquisitive about the world and humbly worked to improve it. She leaves a legacy of faithful and charitable acts of service that reached many.

Beth is survived by her sister, Anne Bienvenu Peckett of Easton, NH; nieces Christina Storslee of State College, PA and Hannah Sharp of Merrimack, NH; nephew Daniel Clay Jenkins of Newmarket, NH; and eight grandnieces and grandnephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23, from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Cathedral Chapel, 145 Lowell Street, Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery, Old Bedford Road, Bedford, NH.
