Elizabeth L. "Betty" White

1948 - 2023

Elizabeth L. "Betty" White, 75, of Derry, NH, died Wednesday November 22, 2023 in the Parkland Medical Center in Derry after a period of failing health. She was born on April 4, 1948 in Winchester, MA, a daughter of the late Clarence and Elizabeth (Green) Muse. Betty had been a resident of Derry since 1968, formerly living in Stoneham, MA. Throughout her life, Betty met and helped so many people. She was in the local PTA in her early years and made many lifetime friends. When she moved to Nutfield Heights, Betty became a respected and caring member of that community. She will always be remembered for her compassion and empathy for others, as she would help anyone in need. As family members and friends, who loved her so much, she will remain in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her three sons, Andrew White and his wife Robyn, David White and his wife Tobi, and Michael White and his wife Melinda; fifteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; her brother, Thomas Muse; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 30th from 4:00 - 6:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00am in the funeral home. The burial will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in E. Derry.
