MANCHESTER -- Enrique Ocana Jr., 35, died Nov. 20, 2010, at Elliot Hospital.
He was born in Los Angeles, Nov. 7, 1975, to Enrique Ocana Sr., and Mary Jane Ramos. He was a resident of New Hampshire for the past seven years, four years of which he resided in Manchester. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was employed for several years at Raytheon, where he was a senior logistics specialist.
His passion was music and he enjoyed playing the drums, guitar and singing. He was actively involved with various local bands. He was a member of VFW Post 69 in Manchester.
Members of his family, in addition to his parents, include his wife of five years, Kristen (Sasbon) Ocana of Manchester; two sons, Draven Ocana of Tuscon, Ariz., and Tyler Shattuck of Manchester; two brothers, Mario Ocana of Rock Springs, Wyo., and Mark Ocana of Beeville, Texas; a sister, Mary Jane Ocana of Odem, Texas; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
SERVICES: A memorial gathering will be Saturday from 3 to 4 p.m. at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St., Manchester. A celebration of life will follow in the funeral home chapel at 4 p.m., followed by military honors.

I worked indirectly with Henry's group, and got to know him enough to state that he was a quality, quality guy. He will be missed by those of us here in Burlington who had the honor of meeting and working with him.
