Frances "Frankie" Forrester

1928 - 2025

Frances (Frankie) Forrester died on January 16, 2025 at the Hunt Community in Nashua, NH at the age of 96. She was born in 1928 in Poultney, Vermont, the 12th of 13 children, to immigrants from Krakow, Poland. She is predeceased by all of her siblings and her husband, Henry Charles Forrester who died in 1993. Frankie lived most of her life in Hollis, NH. She was a great cook; her children grew up thinking that Oysters Rockefeller and Bananas Foster were traditional snacks for watching football. She sang with Nashua Choral Society for 20 years (1970s to 1990s) and traveled with them on multiple occasions giving concerts in Europe and Great Britan. Frankie is survived by 4 children (Linda Chambers of St. Johns, FL; William Forrester of Costa Rica; Keith Forrester of Meredith, NH; and Nancy Leland of North Andover, MA), 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. SERVICES: Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 pm at Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St., Nashua, NH 03064. Family and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be held at a later date in Poultney, Vermont.
