Franjo Babic

Franjo Babic, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2024, in Manchester, New Hampshire, from heart failure at the Catholic Medical Center. Franjo was born Friday, August 3, 1945, in Miljkovac a village in the municipality of Doboj, Yugoslavia, present-day Bosnia. He was the second son of Mihajlo and Marija (Baldi) Babic. He had an older brother, Nikola Babic. The two spent their childhood growing up together with their pet dogs.

Having spent most of his life living in Yugoslavia, Franjo also worked in various European countries. Franjo was a veteran of the Yugoslav Armed Forces.

In his spare time, he would enjoy working on cars, going on long walks, volunteering at the food bank, reading tarot cards and had many other passion projects.

Franjo is survived by his wife, Sabaheta (Hasanovic) Babic; Son, Damir Babic; Daughter, Mira (Caron) Babic and her husband, Michael; Stepdaughter, Amela Suljic and various other relatives.

A committal service will be held for those wishing to express their condolences and share fond memories on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 12:30 PM, in Mount Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Road, Manchester, NH 03102.
