George H. Pelchat, 94, of Berlin, died February 9. He was born in Scot Junction, PQ, Canada on October 7, 1926 and came to Berlin as a child. He served in the US Army as a liaison between the French and American Armies and retired from the National Guard, after 30 years of service.

Family includes his son Michael Pelchat and wife Heidi of Webster, NH; grandson Thomas Pelchat of Webster, NH and his fiancee Suzanne Boucher of Berlin, NH. He was predeceased by his wife Joyce (Bedard) Pelchat.

Private Services will be held at the Bryant & Fleury-Patry Funeral Homes in Berlin on Saturday February 13 at 10 AM, which will be live streamed on George's obituary on the Bryant Funeral Home website. Interment will be in the St. Kieran Cemetery. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date when the COVID Restrictions have been lifted. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society. www.bryantfuneralhome.net.
