Harold Wheeler Obituary
Born in Manchester on Oct. 15, 1929, he was the son of Ernest K. and Agnes T. (Mahoney) Wheeler. He was raised in Bedford and resided in Manchester for many years before returning to Bedford nine years ago.
He graduated from Manchester High School West, Class of 1947. He served with U.S. Army.
Since 1959, Mr. Wheeler owned and operated E.K. Wheeler Construction Company, Inc.
He was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan.
Family members include his son, Daniel L. Wheeler and his wife, Darlene, who was a dear and beloved daughter-in-law to Harold; two grandchildren, Kelley Morrisette and Ryan Wheeler; a great-grandson, Max; several nieces and nephews; and longtime companion, Lucille Gagne.

services: A calling hour will be held Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Saint Joseph Cathedral, corner of Pine and Lowell streets, Manchester. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in Saint Joseph Cathedral. Burial will take place in Bedford Center Cemetery, Bedford.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Friends of Manchester Animal Shelter, 490 Dunbarton Road, Manchester 03102.

Dan,
So saddened to see this obituary. Your dad was by far one of my favorite patients, I will always remember him as the most positive, toughest guy around. In the short time I had to get to know him he emanated pure goodness, even in his suffering he truly took care of us, the staff, when he told you to enjoy your day off and relax, he was so genuine about it. I'm so sorry for your loss of such a wonder ful man. Know that he was loved on cicu and made quite the impression on us all.

To Danny & Family,
I was deeply saddened to hear of your Dad's passing..our families go back many years!! Back in the day, when my dear husband, Ben, started B.A.Roy Steel Erectors, Harold gave him his first job, and Ben never forgot it..they formed a lifelong friendship..the last time I saw Harold was at Ben's wake, with you, Dan.. I am sure that they are now catching up..you are in my thoughts and prayers..take care of each other, and God bless..
