Helen E. Connor

HENNIKER - Helen E. (Stevens) Connor, 91, died Oct. 29, 2011, at Pleasant View Center in Concord, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on Nov. 23, 1919, in Bradford, to Clark D. and Rose (Hemmings) Stevens.

She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Connor, in 2002. She also was predeceased by one brother, Walter Stevens, and two sisters, Clara Clements and Pauline Peaslee.

Helen enjoyed gardening, baseball and being with her family and friends. She was a longtime member of Azalea Rebekah Lodge 58 in Henniker and was a 1938 graduate of Henniker High School.

She is survived by one son, Steven Connor and his wife Linda of Henniker; two daughters, Carol Brunnhoelzl and her husband Fred of Henniker, and Kathy Dunlap and her husband David of Whitefield; five grandchildren, Lynn Kimball and her husband Nate, Jennifer Connor, Jeffrey Connor and his wife Debbie, all of Henniker, Cheryl Devoe and her husband Scott of New London, and Lisa Dunlap of Dalton; seven great- grandchildren, Emily and Hillary Kimball, Will and Helen Connor, all of Henniker, Ryan, Connor and Hannah Devoe of New London.

SERVICES: Graveside services will be held Friday, Nov. 4, at 1 p.m. in New Cemetery in Henniker.
