Jae Soon Brisson

Jae Soon Brisson, 75, a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and longtime resident of Manchester, NH, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025, after a brief illness.

Born on November 20, 1949, in Pyeongtaek, South Korea, Jae Soon courageously immigrated to the United States in 1971, embracing a new life with the hope of building a bright future for her family. She dedicated many years to her work, beginning at Prevue Products before spending much of her career in production at Alltex Uniforms, later G & K Services, and eventually retiring from Cintas. Her strong work ethic and quiet perseverance were hallmarks of her character.

Proud of her Korean heritage, Jae Soon found great joy in preserving and sharing the culture, traditions, and values she held dear. A woman of deep Catholic faith, she was a committed and active communicant at Saint Pius X Parish, where her devotion was a source of comfort and strength.

Jae Soon was known for her boundless generosity and compassion. She never hesitated to lend a hand to those in need and had an extraordinary ability to make others feel seen, appreciated, and cared for. While she carried strong convictions and spoke her mind with confidence, her sincerity and warmth left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

She cherished the simple joys of life, especially time spent with her grandchildren, often sharing a bowl of vanilla ice cream and creating memories they will hold forever. Exceptionally talented with her hands, Jae Soon loved knitting, crocheting, and sewing, and had the remarkable ability to recreate anything without a pattern.

Family members include: her son, James Brisson and his wife, Denise, of Manchester, NH; her daughter, LeAnne Pope and her husband, Michael, of New Boston, NH. She was the deeply loved Memere of Joseph, Chloe, and Wesley; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews; She was predeceased by her "sister" Kang Suk Peaco, who raised her from her teenage years, and her husband Keith of Scarborough, ME.. Jae Soon was predeceased by her son, Roger Lee Brisson.

Services: Visitation will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025, from 9:30 to 10 AM in Saint Pius X Parish, 575 Candia Rd, Manchester, NH 03109.

The funeral will follow with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 AM in the church.

Entombment will proceed at Pine Grove Cemetery Mausoleum, Manchester, NH.
