Janine C. Mailhiot

1943 - 2024

Janine Carmel Mailhiot, a cherished wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend, and devoted sister in Christ, passed away on June 10, 2024. Born on May 12, 1943, in Manchester, NH, Janine, affectionately known as J9, spent her early years in Manchester before making her home in Bedford, NH. Later, she split her time between Litchfield, NH, to be near her son, Thomas P. Mailhiot, and Arizona, where she could be close to her daughter, Debra A. Mailhiot-Martin.

Janine shared a wonderful, fulfilling life with her beloved husband, Roger A. Mailhiot. Together, they celebrated over 60 years of marriage, exploring every state and province in North America by motorcycle and forming lasting friendships on their many adventures.

The couple made frequent trips between New Hampshire and Arizona, with Janine documenting their journeys on Facebook, allowing friends and family to share in their travels. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Janine's remarkable life on September 14, 2024, the day that would have marked her and Roger's 61st wedding anniversary. Please join us for an open house at her son's home, 10 Mockingbird Lane, Litchfield, NH, from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM.
