Turtle,
God wanted you home with him, We need to be thankful for the times, God allow you to share with us. With your kids and your partners you will stay live within us all. You are in a better place. It will be hard for the love ones you left behind. But I know you, and I know you will look out after everyone. To some it will seem like the end of all since you left to go home, however for you it is the beginning to eternal life. We will meet with you in heaven, when our purpose is completed here on earth, See Ya when its my time. GOD BLESS your family and friends, during this time of grief.

Jake and Vickie - Dane' was a huge part of our life. He will be sorely missed. There are so many good things we remember about him. The summers he used to stay with us were some of the best. He always had a ready smile and was such fun to be with.
His love for fried chicken was unprecedented. He especially loved the chicken cooked by his granddaddy. I could go on about the many things he did to bring joy to our lives. We loved him dearly. There is a huge void in our lives but also a ray of sunshine. I look forward to seeing him again when he is resurrected by our loving God, Jehovah.
Our prayers and thoughts are always with you. I love you, Bro. Hang in there - you are a strong man and I know you will make it through. We are always here for you - don't hesitate to call when you just need to talk or need anything else. This family is strong and will remain so. That would make daddy and Dane' so proud. Be good to his little sons - they need the support of us all as they strive to grow up without their dad. Take care. We love you all.

“KWAHERI DANTE”
(Just One More Day)
It seems as if, it was just the other day, that I saw Dante and his children at play,
And Dante flashed that golden smile, that always seems to brighten your day,
But suddenly, yesterday, Dante and his infectious smile, were taken away,
As God’s Sweet Chariot swung down, and carried Dante home that day…….
(Swing Low Sweet Chariot…..)
And now today is another day…….
And for me it is a sad day…….
For I realize that Dante…….
Won’t be coming back this way…….
And I won’t be able to watch Dante…….
And his children at play…….
And we somberly, and at times angrily cry out…….
“LORD! Why did it have to be today, this day, that you came to took Dante away,
Couldn’t it be another day, couldn’t you let him stay… couldn’t you let him play…..
With his children just one more day, and be with us for another day, a few more days?
Couldn’t you come get Dante…….
Some other day, another day, and not today, but another day, in a few more days,
Oh God couldn’t you let him stay another day, another day, just a few more days,
Another day, another day, another day, “JUST-ONE-MORE-DAY, A-NO-THER DAY?”
And Mothers, Grandmothers, Sisters, Aunts, Cousins and Friends cry……..
And as Fathers, Grandfathers, Brothers, Uncles, Cousins and Friends weep and sigh…..
I remember your bright smile, warm heart, loving arms, and that sparkle in your eye,
And again I begin smile, knowing that you’re ‘Walkin’ Around Heaven” pacing the sky,
For God don’t let, the good ones die!
It seems as if it was just the other day, that I saw Dante and his children at play,
And as Dante flashed that golden smile, that always seems to brighten your day,
I realized today, as I caress visions of Dante, that I will again someday, one day,
Smile….. As I will once again watch Dante and his children at play…….
So, as you crossover into another realm,
Into another time,
Into another place,
Into another space,.
And into another dimension ...........
I know that we shouldn’t cry, or try to contemplate the reasons for your ascension,
Knowing, that you go to a far better place than this and that this was God’s intention,
Knowing, that you go to a far better place than this, and that this was God’s decision!
Yet, we’re truly saddened that you, have been so abruptly snatched from our vision..
As you crossover into the Ancestral realm to just beyond the Ancestral shores,
I know that you’re going to be all right, as so many have passed this way before,
Crossing peacefully, into the peaceful and protective realm of the Ancestors,
Answering the spiritual call of the Ancestors, from an ancient African shore ...........
The Ancestor’s anxiously await your arrival with open hearts, and open arms,
Protective Souls who comfort you, guide you, love you and protect you from all harm,
And as you walk in step with The Ancestors on The Divine, Celestial, Ancestral Planes,
Know, that you are in the presence of those who love you and will take away all pain..
And as you embark upon your transitional and spiritual expedition,
I celebrate your embarkation as a time of joyous and righteous jubilation,
And I’ll always remember you, and salute you, with a righteous and spiritual libation,
Knowing that each moment you spend traversing the heavens, is a pious celebration..
I know this is not an eternal separation but simply, your ascension ,
And that you have simply passed on, and into another dimension,
And I know that I will see you again, when I make the transition,
So, each day, I patiently wait for the time, of our glorious reunion ...........
As you crossover into another realm,
Into another time,
Into another place,
Into another space,
And into another dimension,
I suddenly remember with tears in my eyes that, Africans never say good bye ...........
As there is never a good time to say bye, or a such a thing as a “good” bye ...........
It seems as if it was just the other day, that I saw Dante and his children at play,
And as Dante flashed that golden smile, that always seems to brighten your day,
I realized today, as I caress visions of Dante, that I will again someday, one day,
Smile….. As I will again……. watch Dante and his children at play…….
As Africans we simply say, Kwaheri ...........
“See You Later”
Kwaheri Dante
“I’ll see you when I get there” ...........
"As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah (Dante) went up to heaven in a whirlwind." 2 Kings 2:11 ……….And Dante went up to heaven in a fiery chariot drawn by six white horses.

Swing low, sweet chariot……. Coming for to carry me home
Swing low, sweet chariot……. Coming for to carry me home
I looked over Jordan……. And what did I see,
Coming for to carry me home
A band of angels……. Coming after me
Coming for to carry me home
Swing low, sweet chariot……. Coming for to carry me home
Swing low, sweet chariot……. Coming for to carry me home
If you get to heaven……. Before I do
Coming for to carry me home
Tell all my friends……. I'm coming too
Coming for to carry me home
Swing low, sweet chariot……. Coming for to carry me home
Swing low, sweet chariot……. Coming for to carry me home
Sometimes I'm up……. And sometimes I'm down
Coming for to carry me home
But still my soul……. Feels heavenly bound
Coming for to carry me home
Swing low, sweet chariot……. Coming for to carry me home
Swing low, sweet chariot……. Coming for to carry me home
If I get there……. Before you do
Coming for to carry me home
I'll cut a hole……. And pull you through
Coming for to carry me home
Swing low, sweet chariot……. Coming for to carry me home
Swing low, sweet chariot……. Coming for to carry me home
Hey, hey Lord……. Dante is on his way
Coming for to carry me home
Dante is coming home today……. And he’s coming home to stay
Coming for to carry me home
Swing low, sweet chariot……. Coming for to carry me home
Swing low, sweet chariot……. Coming for to carry me home.....
