Joan Crummey Obituary

Joan Frances (Tuttle) Crummey, 89, of Lexington, Ohio passed away on February 23, 2025.

Joan was born on March 30, 1935 in Northwood, NH to John R. & Frances (Holmes) Tuttle. She was raised by her grandparents. On May 16, 1953 she married William F. Crummey, with whom she celebrated 65 years of marriage. In 1955, they moved to Richland Co, OH where together they raised their 5 children. Joan was very active in her church in various ministries. She worked beside her husband as office manager/parts runner at their business, Crummey's Auto Repair, until their retirement.

Our much loved Mom and "Grammy" has left this mortal life behind and has entered eternity, where she now sees Jesus face to face.

Joan is survived by children Diane Jackson, Suzanne (Alan) Rehbein and Tim (Laura) Crummey; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings Roberta Stearns, Peggy Wallace, John Tuttle, Dennis Tuttle and Jim Tuttle; and other extended family. She was preceded in death by parents John R. Tuttle and Frances Wallace; grandparents Emery J and Lola (Bartlett) Holmes; husband William Crummey and sons Michael Crummey and Bill Crummey

A funeral mass was said Feb. 28, 2025 at Resurrection Parish, Lexington Ohio.
