JoAnne Hughes Obituary
Born and raised in Manchester, she was one of five children of Ferdinand and Marcelle Grimard. A 1966 graduate of Manchester Central High School, she went on to study nursing at Keene State College, beginning a 40+ year career at Catholic Medical Center.
In retirement, JoAnne stayed active with cooking, shopping, traveling, and caring for loved ones. She gave generously of her time and resources and was known for her humor and can-do spirit.
She is survived by her children, Matthew Hughes and Lisa Clapp; siblings Susan McHugh, Francine Chevrefils, Marcia Hanaway, and Denis Grimard; and five grandchildren.
A private celebration of life will be held in September at the Puritan Back Room.
