Lauren,
When I arrived at Trinity High School (formerly Bishop Bradley) some 15 years following your dad, people, mostly associated with the football program but even away from that field, spoke of your dad in respectful tones. Being a much younger cousin of his, those stories made me proud. His appeal was wide and ranging, yet his humility was a constant. In fact, about a month ago I met with one of his old coaches from Bishop Bradley on a civic matter and not long into it he drifted into the Bradley days, and Kevin, and again the football part of it but also about the person he was. Need not ramble on about his attributes, except he was a gentleman. That was the person I came to know when I grew older. And his family. Your family... Cannot not say enough about your grandparents and your aunts and uncles. Though I was young, the memories make smile. Quite a family!
I've a framed black/white picture of your dad that was given me long ago by your grandfather. Think I may have been a sophomore at Trinity. Still have, and hanging. When time allows, contact me. Aware you probably have plenty but still right I share with you. Remember looking at on occasion and attempting to draw from it. Then, it was to match his prowess on a football field - LOL... as if that was possible. However, away from a football field and knowing what I knew of him and the stories I had heard, did strive to conduct myself in a manner similar to his - a good person to all, whether they be friend or those only just meeting.
God Bless Kevin, and peace to you and family.

To Sharon and the other members of Kevin Moran's family. I am truly sadden to hear of Kevin's passing. He was my director at the NJ&D Court. Yet he was more than that because he provided me with many opportunities to grow professionally. He will be missed by all who knew him. May God bless and keep in your hour of sorrow and that you will find solace knowing that others care. Blessings,

To Sharon and your family. My heart is still very heavy from hearing of his death. He was my #1 boss after working by his side for 25+ years. He is what you call a "Very Good Man" and will never ever forget him. Love you.

Whether as a friend, a team mate or a rival on the field, Kevin was a stalwart a man of character. I have many fond childhood memories of our interactions the glory days of Saint Joe's getting busted up on the chinese tackle field surrounding Mush as he launched his daily projectile toward Barkie. Bugs, you were often in my thoughts, always in my prayers. Competing against you made me a better man. Brian may be the number one East Carolina fan in Manch but I have always been number two. Go Pirates! My condolences, Brian. I share your sorrow and your grief.
