MANCHESTER -- Liliane St. Pierre, 83, died Oct. 10, 2010, at Catholic Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
She was born April 1, 1927, in Princeville, Quebec, to Ludovic and Lumina (Mercier) Baril. She was a loving and dedicated mother, housewife, and an expert seamstress during her career. had worked in the school cafeteria at Ste. Marie School while her children were there. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, spending time with family and playing cards.
She was a member of the Societe des Dames de Sainte-Anne. She was a parishioner of Ste. Marie Church.
IN HER LIFE: She was predeceased by her husband, Gaston "Gus" St. Pierre, who died on Feb. 13, 2010. Family members include three sons, Denis St. Pierre and his wife Laurie (Roy) of Manchester, Normand St. Pierre and his wife Lorraine (Caza) of Manchester and Guy St. Pierre and his wife Diane (Rochefort) of Manchester; two daughters, Suzanne and her husband, Timothy Dorgan, of Weare and Carol and her husband, Charlie Baker, of Deering; nine grandchildren, Tenley, Erick, Patrick, Bradley, Jordan, Keith and his wife Laura, Nicole, Cedric and Chandler; one great-grandchild, Jacob; four brothers, Andre Baril and his wife, Gertrude, of Princeville, Quebec, Gaston Baril and his wife, Denise, of Victoriaville, Quebec, Real Baril and his wife, Cecile, of Princeville, Quebec, and Berthin and his wife, Jacqueline, of Claremont; two sisters, Yvette Plante of Victoriaville, Quebec and Monique Gagnon and her husband, Eugene, of Princeville, Quebec and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Marcellin Baril, who died on Oct. 21, 1986.
SERVICES:Calling hours at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 250 Coolidge Ave, Manchester are Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 ro 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. at Ste. Marie Church, Notre Dame Ave., Manchester. Committal prayers will follow in the chapel at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
Donations may be made to Autism Society of New Hampshire or American Cancer Society.
