Loretta Baird Obituary

Loretta Ann Baird, lovingly known as Lori to all who knew her and Nana to her grandchildren, passed away peacefully on Nov. 20, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on June 30, 1952, in Boston, Mass., Lori was the daughter of Anthony and Pauline Civiello. Lori grew up surrounded by a close-knit family and carried that sense of love and loyalty throughout her entire life. She completed high school and went on to pursue some college coursework, always valuing learning and creativity.

Lori married the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Baird, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories, devotion, and quiet strength. Together they built a family rooted in hard work and togetherness. She is survived by her husband Bob; her son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Amber; her cherished grandchildren, Maegan, Tristan, Jackson and Chloe; and her siblings, Chris, Jeni and Antoinette. She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Nikki, and grandson, Matthew, whom she missed dearly and now rejoins in peace.

A gifted crafter, Lori poured her heart into everything she made. Her handmade cards - carefully created for birthdays, holidays and every special moment - became treasured keepsakes for family and friends. Whether celebrating a milestone or simply brightening someone's day, Lori expressed her love through thoughtfulness and creativity. Above all else, Lori's greatest joy was her family. She was the kind of wife, mother, sister and Nana who always made sure everyone was cared for. Her warmth, generosity, and gentle presence will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.
