I've known Mikey since he was 18 and he was never without a smile and a happy word. He was the best ambassador NH ever had. He will be sorely missed!

He touched so many with his sweet soul. He was an ambassador to all things good and decent. Although it has been many many years, I will always remember his smile, and his laugh. Happy Birthday in heaven, Mikey.

Mike was a Board Member of TrainRiders Northeast for decades and an outstanding TNE volunteer on-board Train Host from the beginning of Amtrak's Downeaster Passenger Rail Service between Portland and Boston. He provided assistance and information to thousands of passengers who enjoyed his knowledge, humor and ever present smile and cheery attitude. He was also popular with Amtrak crew members and will be missed by all.

It is impossible to express the joy, love, and feeling of security Mikey brought to my world of promoting NH tourism and business in NH. He truly was Mr. NH. More importantly, he became a friend who always looked at both sides of a coin and shared his opinion of each. Unabashedly. I'll miss that smiling face.

Mike was a wonderful friend, a fantastic train host/ambassador and fierce supporter of passenger rail and the Amtrak Downeaster service! He will be missed greatly and remembered fondly by the entire NNEPRA team.

Mike was a true joy to be around. We have so many fun and wonderful memories of him over the years. He had so many interests, so many stories, so many jokes, so many smiles. Rest in Peach, dear friend.

Mikey taught me just about everything I know about guiding groups around this beautiful state that he loved with his whole heart. He introduced me to many people in the Tourism Industry, most of whom I call friends now. Thank you, Mikey. You will forever be with me when I am standing up in the front of a bus, microphone in hand and facing backwards! A bientôt, mon ami.
