Michael L. Koravos

1955 - 2025

Michael L. Koravos, 69, of Auburn, NH, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Brigham & Women's Hospital, in Boston, MA. Michael passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family who held his hands, comforted him, and prayed with him.

Michael was born on October 17, 1955, in Lowell, MA, the son of the late, Christos and Jennie (Caban) Koravos. He grew up in Westford, MA and graduated from Westford Academy in 1973. In his career, Michael was a Director of Operations for several companies, including Itran, Zydacron, Fortress Technologies/General Dynamics, and most recently Cimcon Lighting.

Michael was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, showing unconditional love and support for his family and friends. He enjoyed boating, and spending time with family and friends at his lake house. Michael treasured the special moments he shared with his grandchildren, who lovingly called him "Papou."

Michael is survived by his wife of 39 years, JoAnne (Wasylak) Koravos of Auburn, NH; his son, Nicholas Koravos and his wife, Julie of Nashua, NH; his daughter Jamie May and her husband, Adam of Auburn, NH; three grandchildren, Simon, Maxwell, and Hallie; his beloved dog, Cooper; and many close friends, cousins, and relatives.

His memory will be forever cherished and may his life of love and compassion be comfort to all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.

SERVICES: A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester, NH. A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 1 p.m.
