Muriel J. "Mikki" Brown
Mikki Brown lost her battle with cancer on Sept. 17, 2021, at the age of 75, at home in Orlando surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Goffstown, N.H., but resided in Florida for the past 38 years.

Mikki is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Marion Thompson of New Boston, N.H., and her brother, Andrew D. Thompson, and is survived by four sisters, Carol Belanger of Weare, N.H.; Donna Marrinan of Wayne, N.J.; Sandra Kohler and husband Robert of Minneola, Fla.; Glenys White of Goffstown, N.H.; and two brothers, Walter Scott Wheeler and wife Christine of Clermont, Fla., and Joseph N. Thompson of New Boston, N.H., along with many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mikki spent most of her adult life working a successful banking career in Manchester, N.H., and Florida East Coast where she received numerous promotions and awards throughout her career. Several years before she retired, she acquired a Community Association Manager (CAM) License and a Florida Real Estate License and worked as a property manager at the Seacoast and Orlando until she retired.

During her banking career in Florida, she served on the Rotary Club - Flagler County and received the Paul Harris Fellow Award; Flagler City Education Foundation and Flagler County - Tree City Festive Committee. She also gave endless time to the Children's Giving Store, making many children's lives happier during the holiday season.

Mikki was a strong person who made time to help others daily, even when she struggled with her own health challenges. She had the ability to impact the lives of everyone around her in a positive way.

Mikki has requested to be cremated with no funeral and no memorial service. She will be buried with her parents in New Boston, N.H., next spring.

Mikki was such an amazing woman & you will never be forgotten. I still cannot believe that you are gone, I have many many memories that I will hold close to my heart. 39 years ago you married Andy & I in your home in Deering NH . You were such a huge part of my life, welcoming me into the family & treating me like your sister every single day. When I lost Andy 4 1/2 years ago, I felt lost but you were always there for me, whether a phone call or hopping on a plane to come see me. You invited me down to Florida a few months later & it is a memory I will never forget. I felt like I lost a huge part of my family except for a couple of you . You always called me " Sweet Lady " Family is forever ! I will always love you Mikki. RIP
