Am so sorry to hear of Pauline's passing. I went to high school with Pauline and considered her a friend. She always had a quick wit and something to say about everything. She lived life on her terms and my sympathies to her family. I'm sure she left a very big void in your lives as she does in anyone who knew her. RIP Pauline. Love you. Pauline's passing is a great loss to her family and friends. The sentiments shared here capture her intellect, her heart and her spirit. She surely fought this battle with strength and great courage. I am so very sorry.

Bob, Lynne, Gail, Scott, there are not enough words to tell you how sorry we are for your loss or to tell you of our own small part in this loss. This week our family lost a friend. Whether it was returning after all of the party guests had left to do the dishes for a hostess sick with bronchitis, playing the role of a dying grandmother in Elizabeth's Anne of Green Gables video book report, a "quick" conversation in the middle of the street, loaning her basement for us to hide Christmas presents too large to hide in our own (and letting us in at midnight to collect them), sharing tears at the passing of a shared friend, or sharing uproarious laughter at absolutely nothing (perhaps those cocktail franks she and Dave both liked so much), Pauline was the embodiment of the words good neighbor. She was always proud of her children and grandchildren and always interested in hearing about mine, even in our last conversation not so long ago. I will miss her, even as I rejoice for her that the pain is over and she is at home with Jesus. Dave and I are deeply sorry for the loss being felt by her family, We are also sorry that, because we are out of state, we will not be there to give our condolences to you in person. Hugs and Love to you all.

I remember the first time I met Pauline, over 55 years ago, I thought she was a pretty, blonde, sassy little thing who didn’t “hold back”...and she never did. I grew to appreciate that honesty and her forthright manner, in which she expressed what she felt and what she thought, because you knew where you stood with her. Pauline had a good and compassionate heart for all of her “tell it like it is” facade, and a wonderful sense of humor that was her trademark. Rest in peace Pauline.
Till we meet again...
Love, Terry

Mrs. V (never Pauline to me) was a very special person. She was like a second mom to me. Her amazing sense of humor made me laugh often, whether it was while playing cards, sitting by the lake or enjoying a birthday party for her grandson. She will be remembered fondly and always in my heart! Hope there are some slots in heaven!
Love you Mrs. V, rest in peace!!

I will always cherish her witty sense of humor & "tell it like it is" conversations as well as all the very many wonderful memories of all our Friday night game nights together, beach visits, holiday gatherings and fun pool parties and cook-outs with her and Vince and friends...most of all I loved sharing just plain real & personal conversations about anything and everything with her. She will be truly missed and treasured in my heart always! Love you!
